Ms. Joyce Cole Smith, age 87, of Old Hickory, TN passed away on March 1, 2019. She was born in Nashville, TN on February 19, 1932 to the late Newell and Anna Weaks. She is also preceded in death by her first husband, Willie Cole, and husband, Marvin Smith; one son, James Kevin Cole; and two brothers.
Joyce is survived by her children, Karen (Kevin) Jones, Vickie (James) Perry, and Danny (Trish) Stringfield; nine grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
A life celebration will be held 11am, Wednesday, March 6, 2019 in the chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 4-8pm on Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Hendersonville Memory Gardens, Funeral Home and Cremation Center are in charge of arrangements. 353 E. Main Street Hendersonville TN 37075.
