Johnny Eugene Merryman, age 79, passed away on Wednesday, November 4,2020 in Hendersonville, TN. Mr. Merryman was born in Nashville, TN and was the son of the late Forrest Eugene and Dorothy Scott Merryman. Mr. Merryman is survived by his loving wife of 56 yrs. Frances Knight Merryman; sons Scotty Merryman (Jodi) and Darrell Merryman (Sandee); grandchildren Ashlee Merryman, Hunter Merryman and Kathryn Merryman. Mr. Merryman was preceded in death by his parents and sister Diane Seat.
Mr. Merryman was a wonderful man, husband and father. Mr. Merryman loved his grandchildren and he was known to them as "Granddaddy". He will be truly missed by all that knew him and loved him.
A Celebration of Life for Mr. Merryman will be held at 3pm on the afternoon of Tuesday, November 10,2020 at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be held two hours to the start of the service. In Lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the Epilepsy Foundation.
