Johnna Sue Aumack, born January 9, 1964 in Springfield, TN, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends on Friday, June 16, 2017 in Nashville, TN. Preceded in death by her mother, Judy Head Wooden and husband, Ricky Aumack, Jr. Survived by her daughter, Jessica Aumack, father, John Wooden, sister, Julie Freeman (Mitch) and nephew, Zachary Freeman. Johnna is also survived by her dog, Winnie, along with many extended family and friends.

Johnna dedicated 16 years to teaching in the Nashville Metro Public School system, tutoring at the Hermitage Learning Center and teaching at J.E. Moss Elementary School. Her students will carry the gift of learning with them throughout their lives. Johnna was a strong, independent woman who taught her family the value of hard work. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends and students.

A life celebration service for Johnna will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 2:00PM with visitation beginning at 11:00AM. Interment will be held following the service at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
