Age 75 of Nashville, TN passed away on November 1, 2015.
John leaves behind a tremendous legacy and will be remembered as caring, faithful, fashionable, and fun. One of his greatest features was his smile, which could brighten even the darkest room. As a young man, he served his nation proudly in the United States Coast Guard.
He had an impeccable sense of fashion and proper decorum. John made a career for himself in retail and was in management for several years. He had an appreciation for the arts and dancing. Additionally, John enjoyed traveling, a few of his favorite destinations were: Key West, San Francisco, Chicago, Las Vegas, and Charleston.
Christmas held a special place in John's heart, and he enjoyed the holiday very much. In fact, he had a tradition of burning a designer Burberry Candle brightly each Christmas and New Year's. In some small way, this tradition was tied to his fashion sense. John was not a fan of health food, but had a taste for chocolate doughnuts, M & M's, and Lay's Potato Chips. His beverage of choice was Coca-Cola.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Deborah Patterson. John leaves behind his loving spouse of 20 years, Herbert Frost; daughter, Barbara Liebert; son, Russell Adams; grandchildren, Allison, Jerry, Heidi, and Scott Liebert; sisters, Joan McClennen and Pat Dannerth.
The family will receive visitors on Saturday, November 7 from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. with a life celebration following at 12 p.m. All services will be held at the funeral home. HENDERSONVILLE FUNERAL HOME, 353 E. Main Street, Hendersonville, TN 37075 (615) 824-3855 hendersonvillefh.com
