JOHN "JD" ALLAN DORDAL

John "JD" Allan Dordal,67, of Gallatin, Tn died February 17,2015. He was born November 18,1947 in Washington DC to the late Raymond and Theresa Lee Dordal. He was also preceded in death by his wife Iris, and sister Kathie Fox. John is survived by his children, daughter Lindie Karow and husband James, son Matthew Dordal, brother Paul Dordal and wife Laureen, and his four grandchildren Connor and Tess Karow and Justin and Taylor Dordal.
John graduated from Oxon Hill High School in Maryland, and received an Associates Degree from St. Mary's College before graduating from the University of Maryland with a BS degree in Marketing and Business Administration. He entered the US Army through Officer Training School and after the Army he worked as a district manager for Ford Motor Company and as a division sales manager for Tom's food company in South Carolina for more than twelve years. John was an entrepreneur who started up a home inspection company and a flooring and carpet cleaning company, and after moving to Gallatin Tennessee John and his wife Iris established a real estate team to welcome new home owners to Tennessee.
Throughout his life John had a strong faith in the Lord. The family would like to express heart-felt thanks to Roland Williams and the Orem ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for their support for John during the past two years.
John will be buried next to his wife, Iris, at the Hendersonville Funeral Home in Hendersonville, TN, following a memorial service on February 28.

The family will be receiving friends at Hendersonville Funeral Home on Saturday, February 28, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. with the Memorial Service scheduled at 7:00 p.m.
