Age 84, of Cross Plains, passed away April 15, 2016.
Mr. Brown was a faithful member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church since 1967, where he served as the church clerk for 30 years. He enjoyed singing gospel music, serving as song leader for many years, woodworking, gardening, spending time outdoors and watching animals, especially in the last few years while trying to keep the squirrels out of the bird feeders. Mr. Brown was a retiree from TDOT after 40 years of service as a construction contracts analyst.
Preceded in death by his parents, Monroe & Eula Brown; sister, Thelma Blood; brother, Grady Brown. Survived by his loving wife of 52 years Sarah Frances Brown; daughter, Kathy Minor (John); sisters, Ellen Young & Ruth Brown; several nieces, nephews & extended family.
