Mr. Joe Cooper Hinson age 88, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2019.

Mr. Hinson was born in Luray, TN, on July 15, 1930, the son of the late Clyde Hinson and Margaret Hinson. He served in the United States Air Force and retired from Nashville's Greyhound Bus Station as a terminal manager. Mr. Hinson enjoyed bowling, working in the yard, watching sports, and his dogs. He had a special love for his two grandsons. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hinson was preceded in death by his wife, Marita Hinson and a sister, Louise Crawford.

Survivors include his daughter, Jona Coppola White (Andy); two grandsons, Anthony Gian Coppola and Houston Asil Coppola; and a sister, Regina Stickels (Tommy).

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 2:00 P.M., Hendersonville Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.

Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Thursday from noon until the funeral hour at Hendersonville Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital P.O. Box 1000 Dept 142 Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
