Jerry "Jake" Brown, Sr.

Jerry Wayne Brown (Jake), age 81, of Nashville, TN passed away September 19, 2022.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mary Brown and Wesley Brown; Siblings Evelyn Spain and Jimmy Brown.

Jerry served his country in the United States Navy and was a retired Metro Nashville Fire Fighter. He was a great family provider and loved his family very much. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Brenda Brown; Daughters Evelyn Brown and Terri (Jordan) Vore; Son Jerry Wayne Brown, Jr.; Grandchildren Ryan (Elissa) Tomlin, and Erica (Mack) Davis; Great-Grandchildren Weston, Charlie, Sadie, and Graye, and extended family. Jake will be greatly missed by family and friends.

A graveside service to celebrate Jerry’s life will be held at 11am on the morning of Friday, September 30, 2022 at Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the start of the graveside at Hendersonville Funeral Home in The Stateroom.

In lieu of flowers the family request a remembrance contribution be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
