Jerry Wilson

WILSON SR., Jerry Douglas – Age 61 of Hendersonville, TN passed away on February 19, 2012. Mr. Wilson worked as a truck driver for many years at Thurston Motor Lines. He also served in the Army from July 6, 1970 – January 13, 1972, where he was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Eva Wilson; brothers, Richard and Johnny Wilson, and sister, Charlotte Shannon Wilson. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Shirlone; children, Shannon Wilson and Doug Wilson; sister, Carolyn Ricky Cooper; grandchildren, Staci, John, Tyler, and Jazmine, and several nieces and nephews. A Life Celebration Service will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 10 a.m. in the Chapel with James Halkis officiating. Interment will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Gilbert Cross, Jeffery Cross, Ricky Cooper, Mark Harvey, Matt George, David George, Ryan Harvey, and David Wayne George will serve as pallbearers.
