Jerry Nesbitt

Mr. Jerry Lawrence Nesbitt, age 81, of Hendersonville, Tennessee passed away on May 6, 2023. Jerry was born on October 21, 1941 to the late Lawrence Cordell Nesbitt and Beaulah Law Nesbitt. Jerry spent a while working in the trucking industry as a dispatcher. He also owned Lake Villa Market with his wife, Ms. Barbara Nesbitt. He also opened his own business doing small engine repairs, lawn mower repairs, and welding. Jerry enjoyed boating, jet skiing, and being on the water. He also enjoyed relaxing and drinking a beer. More than anything, he loved his kids and grandkids with his whole heart.

Jerry is survived by his children, Sherry (Bobby) Dixon, Jerry (Lisa) Nesbitt, Jr., and Kim Schildt; grandchildren, Heather Dixon, Chelsea Dixon, Ashley (Alex) Grim, Leanna Nesbitt, Payton Reed, and Cody Nesbitt; great grandchildren, Brayden Dixon, Aleeya Dixon, Liam Grim, and Aidan Grim; and siblings, June Ballinger, Renee (Randy) Tomlin, and Steve Nesbitt.

In addition to his parents, Jerry is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Nesbitt, and his brother, Gerald Nesbitt.

Visitation for Mr. Jerry will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday, May 11, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. at Hendersonville Funeral Home (353 E. Main Street, Hendersonville, Tennessee 37075). Burial will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
