Jerry Donald Alderson of Hendersonville, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2017at the age of 74. Preceded in death by his parents: Roy Lawrence Alderson and Florence Denny, along with many other relatives. Survived by his beloved wife, Celeste, of 55 years, children: Barry Donald Alderson (Teresa) Gary Roy Alderson (Shannon), grandchildren: Brady Alderson (Haynes), Kayla Hendley (John), Mason, Clayre and Chloe-Belle Alderson, great-grandchildren: Lincoln William and Paisley River Hendley. Jerry is also survived by many other extended family and friends.

Jerry was a great husband, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed.

A Life Celebration service for Jerry will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 2pm, officiated by Brother Mike Trotter. Visitation for family and friends will begin at 12pm. Interment will be held following the service at Hendersonville Memory Gardens, Garden of Matthew.

Pallbearers will be "Bit" Joe Wix, Allen Roberts, Keith Ingham, Tommy Kelly, Rick Shaffer and Melvyn Drexler.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jerry's name can be made to Alive Hospice-Hendersonville. Special thank you to Stacy and Patty for their care and support to Jerry and his family.
