Jean Mcmurtry

Jean "Sheena" H. McMurtry was born on July 31, 1940 and passed away peacefully on October 4, 2013. Sheena was a faithful attendant of Hendersonville First Baptist Church, and loved participating in events with the Silver Sneakers at Hendersonville Y.M.C.A. Mrs. McMurtry was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to all. She is preceded in death by her companion of 16 years, Doug Franklin, and parents James and Jean Leeks. She is survived by her loving daughter, Shaaron Williams and Rob, granddaughters, Maia and Ashlyn Williams, as well as a host of friends. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 from 4-8pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home. A celebration of life ceremony will be conducted at 10am on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 in the chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
