Jay Lawrence

Jay O. Lawrence, age 58, of Hendersonville, TN passed away suddenly on March 2, 2017. A native of Pennsville, NJ, Jay found a new home and a second family when he moved to Hendersonville in 2012.

Jay was a proud father and devoted husband. He is survived by his wife, Meredith Lawrence (Hendersonville, TN); his daughter, Tessa Marie Lawrence Burtt (Wilmington, DE); his brother, Wayne Lawrence (Allentown, PA) and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Frank and Dolly Lawrence; and his sister, Margaret Bruce.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 14, 2017 from 5 to 6 pm followed immediately BY A Life Celebration Service at 6 pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home, 353 E. Main Street, Hendersonville, TN 37075.

Another celebration of Jay's life will be held at the American Legion Hall, 25 West Pittsfield St., Pennsville, NJ 08070 on Sunday, March 26th at 2:00 pm.
