Janice R. Miller born Janice Gayle Resener passed away peacefully from a prolonged battle with cancer on July 18, 2019. She is preceded in death by her father Carl Resener and her sister Nancy Alder.

Cherishing her memory, she leaves behind her loving husband Doug Miller, her sons Shane (LeGenna) and Charlie, her daughter Laura Miller, and her mother, Laura Resener. Additionally, her legacy will be continued through her grandchildren Kyler, Kaydence, and Karl.

Graduate of Hendersonville High school, Jan loved painting, gardening, sewing, and all kinds of crafts. You may have even seen her extravagant artistic abilities during Vacation Bible School at First Baptist Church of Hendersonville, as she devotedly painted their displays for many years. She was a dedicated mother and wife and would not be moved by naysayers who may have doubted the immense abilities of her gifted children.

The family wishes to extend the upmost expressions of gratitude to the many friends who have been so gracious and loving- the prayers and act is kindness will be held in the family's heart forever.

A celebration of Janice's life will be held in the Chapel at Hendersonville First Baptist Church on Monday, July 22nd at 12:00PM. Visitation for family and friends will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home on Sunday, July 21st from 4:00PM-8:00PM and one hour prior to the service at church on Monday.
