Janice Gilley

Janice Fletcher Gilley, age 68 of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on February 18, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 50 years, Terry Franklin, and father Harry Ward Fletcher, Jr. Mrs. Gilley is survived by two sons; Christopher Gilley and Lance (Danette) Gilley; 9 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; mother, Christine Fletcher; 3 brothers, Leslie (Patty) Fletcher, Alan (Renee) Fletcher and Gary (Samantha) Fletcher; and, 2 sisters, Joyce (Craig) Plummer and Carol (J.T.) Austin.

We are all shattered by Janice's sudden passing, but also feel enormously blessed to have had her love and support for all of these years. She was good and kind and selfless. She loved to sit outside with the family and laugh and grill out hamburgers. She was always quick to help anyone out in their time of need. Her generosity of spirit will leave a hole in our lives for years to come. Janice was a genius at creating organization out of chaos and kept things in meticulous order, which was her loving way. She wanted to make another's path easier with no regard for her own path or discomfort. She was the finest helper we have ever known - our family's sweetheart; and, she will be dearly missed.

A private family service will be held.
