Janet Louise Sertich, 82, of Schererville, Indiana passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at her daughter's home in Hendersonville, Tennessee. She was born May 10, 1934 in Hammond, Indiana to Geneva Wills Myren and Boyd London Myren, Sr. Janet was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 53 years, James J. Sertich, Sr. who passed away in 2009. They had three children, James J. Sertich, Jr., Jennifer Shea (John), and Joann Clark (Greg), nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held in the near future in the Northwest Indiana area. Gifts in memory of Janet L. Sertich may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or to the Humane Society.
