Mrs. Janet Rae Scarlett-Rogers age 67, of Hendersonville, TN, for the last sixteen years, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2020.
Mrs. Scarlett-Rogers was born in Culver City, CA, on February 10, 1953, the daughter of the late Joseph Scarlett and Martha Brittain Scarlett. She formerly lived in CA, IA, and NE and in her younger years biked all over the Malibu Mountains. Mrs. Scarlett-Rogers was a member of American Legion Auxiliary where she was the former treasurer and Associates of Vietnam Veterans of America. She worked many years with Xtend Healthcare as a claim representative. Mrs. Scarlet-Rogers loved animals and enjoyed reading, crocheting, and traveling. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Scarlett-Rogers was preceded in death by her two half-brothers, Jesse Calvert and John Scarlet and a half-sister, Baby Scarlett.
Survivor include her husband, Raymond Rogers, to whom she was married on January 27, 1995; a step-daughter, Christina Reynolds (James Reynolds, II); a grandson, James Reynolds, III; two half-sisters, Sandra Symington and Joann Simmons; two half-brothers, LeRoy and Gerald Calvert; numerous cousins; and her beloved Aunt Marie.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 8, 2020, at 1:00 P.M., Hendersonville Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at Hendersonville Funeral Home.
