James C. Williams- age 77, went to be with the Lord on June 22, 2017. James was born in Hickman County, TN on August 21, 1939. He was a man of faith and was a member of Nashville Road Church of Christ. James drove a truck for various companies for over 40 years. He also had a sidekick named boots that travelled around with him. She was a faithful dog and was very protective of him. James always treated her by feeding her porter house steak. He will be remembered as a loving husband of 20 years, and good provider for his family. He will be deeply missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Willie Burcham Williams and brother, Edward Williams.
He is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Mary F. Williams; stepson, William T. Smith, Sr. (Anita) and 3 step-grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Hendersonville Funeral Home at 4:30pm with Brother Charles R. Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
