Age 70 passed away September 26, 2015.
When remembering Jimmy the words adventurous, smiling, honest, family oriented and hardworking come to mind. Those most influential in making Jimmy who he was were, Clarence Greek, Lee Tolley, Don Chambers, and Bob Wilhite. He loved to travel and visited more than 15 countries, and had the opportunity to live in 4 of them. Though his extensive travels took him to many exotic destinations, his favorite were the Azores Islands, Baltic Sea, any golf course, and anyplace where his family was present.
Jimmy enjoyed playing golf and watching football or any sport that happened to be on TV. Most of all he loved his family and enjoyed spending as much time with them as possible.
He leaves a legacy as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Dickens; children, Tammy (Steve) Stoutt and James (Sarah) Dickens, Jr.; grandchildren, Kristin, Kaitlyn and Jacob Stoutt, Lauren and Zoe Dickens; sister, Ann (Johnny) Roseberry; brothers, Leonard (Hattie) Dickens and David (Kathy) Dickens; brother-in-law, Douglas Jones.
