DELANEY, James Robert "RD", age 65, November 17, 2011. Worked at N.E.S. for 40 years. He was an Eagle Scout, coached and played softball and he was an avid antique toy dealer. Preceded in death by, mother, Betty Joyce Delaney; brothers, Stanley and David Delaney; nephew Brian Flatt. Survived by wife, Jane Hunter Delaney; father, James M. Delaney; children, Amy Delaney, Jennifer Brian Rowland, Tom Laurie Murray, Jim Kim Murray, Jana Brad Emery; sister, Janice Flatt; grandchildren, Michael, Alexandra, Madison and Andrew Aldridge, Shaina and Katie Ferguson, Colin Rowland, Taylor Pruett, Josh and Ashley Murray, James and Chloe Murray, Sam and Eli Emery; nephews, Steve and Michael Flatt. The service will be Monday, November 21, 2011 at 10 a.m. at West Harpeth Funeral Home with David Friedli officiating. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Ricky Bramble, William Wall, Eddie DeFord, Jerry Baird, Don Carpenter and Larry Foriest. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of N.E.S. and Cohn High Class of 1965.
