James Brothers

James Robert Brothers, age 76 of, Madison, TN passed away on Tuesday, January 11,2022. James was born in Murfreesboro, TN. James and his family resided in Madison, TN. He was the son of the late Robert C. and Esther Dell Porterfield Brothers.

Mr. Brothers is survived by; son Frankie Brothers; daughter Mandy Green (Daniel); grandson Braxton Green; granddaughters Kalli Brothers and Gracelyn Green; brother Jerry and sister Elaine. James was preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Glenda Kay Brothers.

James was an iron worker, welder and a fabricator for over 40 years. He took great pride in his work and was a perfectionist when it came to his welding. He enjoyed hunting early on in life and later turned fishing into his great passion. In the past years he has loved fishing from the bank with his grandson Braxton. James loved his family and especially his grandkids. He loved his 1955 Chevrolet and attending classic car shows. James was selfless when it came to helping others, he was always eager to help with projects for his family and friends.

Services to celebrate James’s life will be at 12pm on the afternoon of Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 4-8pm on the afternoon of Tuesday, January 18, 2022 and one hour prior to the start of the service.
