James Brinkley

Mr. James Dorris Brinkley age 81, of Gallatin, TN, passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2021.

Mr. Brinkley was born in Sumner County, TN, on May 10, 1940, the son of the late James Walter Brinkley and Murlene Taylor Brinkley. He retired from Odom’s Tennessee Pride Sausage after many years of service. Mr. Brinkley enjoyed gardening, fishing, and hunting.

Survivors include his wife, Glenda Brinkley, to whom he was married on December 24, 1959; two sons, Darell Brinkley (Lisa) and Randy Brinkley (Jodi); five grandchildren, Joshua Sadler, Darell Kirkwood, Kim Bynum, James Allen Brinkley, and James Brian Brinkley; twelve great-grandchildren; and a sister, Linda Douglas.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 9, 2021, at 1:00 P.M., Hendersonville Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.

Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Thursday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and Friday from noon until service hour at Hendersonville Funeral Home.
