James Baggett

James W. Baggett of Hendersonville, TN passed away March 16, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. Jim was born August 11, 1954 in Nashville, TN to the late Sam R. and June I. (Jones) Baggett. Jim proudly served in the US Navy and went on to graduate from Tallahassee Barber College and owned his own barbershop, Jims Barbershop in Hendersonville for over 20 years. Jim was a jokester and loved laughing and telling jokes to his family and friends. Jim was a Harley enthusiast and had a group he rode with all over the country, selecting their destinations by drawing them from a hat. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing cards, especially poker, and playing golf. Above all else, he loved spending time with his family and friends. Jim is survived by his daughters, Jami (Garrett) Dixon and Bobbi Williams; siblings, Danny (Judy) Baggett, Donnie Baggett, Terry Baggett and Debra McWilliams. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby. A time of gathering and sharing stories will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 4-8pm at the Hendersonville Funeral Home (353 E. Main St; Hendersonville, TN 37075). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Avalon Hospice.
