Mrs. Irene Elizabeth McCreary age 80, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2020.

Mrs. McCreary was born in Charles City, Iowa, on June 6, 1940, the daughter of the late Elston Castle and Ferne Elizabeth Castle. She enjoyed her time working at Howard's Health Foods. Also, enjoyed Disney World, shopping, and going to the mountains. She will be remembered most for loving people and being a wonderful mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her three children, Robert McCreary (Pam), Scott McCreary, and Vikki Peterman (Dwain); five grandchildren, Amanda Hardin (Aaron), Kimberly McCreary, Jennifer Wells (Thomas), Duston McCreary, and Denice Peterman (Trae); five great-grandchildren, Izabella, Tristan, Riley, Sophia, and Remmie; and two brothers, Dan Castle (Sandy) and Steve Castle (Gail). Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, October 2, 2020, at noon, Hendersonville Funeral Home.

Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at Hendersonville Funeral Home.
