Herman Crotzer Jr., 86, of Hendersonville, TN went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 15, 2017. He was born to Herman Sr. and Ruth Crotzer in Nashville, TN on October 19, 1930. He is survived by a son, Steve Crotzer (Judy); daughter, Jill Martin (Ronnie); grandchildren, Justin, Devin, Colt Martin (Carie) and Samantha. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty; son Herman Crotzer III; sister, Patsy Crews.
Herman loved his country and he proved that by serving in the United States Army. During his time in the military he served in the Korean War. He was very funny and always enjoyed pulling pranks. He enjoyed watching Western's and working on older vehicles. His hobbies were camping, boating, and fishing. One of his favorite past times in life was eating a good meal. He was very diligent in everything especially with work. He would always tell his kids, "I may not be able to give you everything you want, but I will always give you everything you need."
A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the Chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home on Monday, June 19, 2017 at 2 O' Clock in the afternoon with Pastor Kevin Minchy officiating. Visitation will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home on Sunday, June 18, 2017 from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment will be held in the Hendersonville Memory Gardens with Military Honors being conducted at that time.
