Helen Yanusz

Helen J. (Drecksage) Yanusz, 75, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022.  Helen was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on August 16, 1947, to William and Helen (Hilt) Drecksage.

Helen loved cooking, crafting, and Swedish weaving, most importantly, Helen loved spending time with her family.  Helen’s life changed when her grandchildren were born, she could always be found attending all activities that her grandchildren were involved in.  In addition, Helen was a proud member of the Teamsters as well as a long time member of Eastern Star.   Helen’s spunky spirit will be missed deeply by her family.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents William and Helen along with her brother William Drecksage.  She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years John R. Yanusz, daughter Michelle Conley, and son John (Carol) Yanusz.  In addition, she is survived by her grandchildren Jaci Conley, Cameron Yanusz, and Myles Conley, sister Carol Chase as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital in memory of Helen.
