Helen Shepherd

Ms. Helen Faye Shepherd, 87, of Hendersonville passed away on August 27, 2018 at Park Place Retirement Community. She was born September 12, 1930 in Hollandale, MS to the late James Warner and Gertrude Showah. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Archie Shepherd; siblings, Mike Showah and Thelma Fedell.

Faye worked at Hitt Electric as bookkeeper for many years until her retirement. She was also a very active member at Beech Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where she was a member for over 20 years.

Faye is survived by her two children, Rusty (Rene') Shepherd and Terry Shepherd; three grandchildren, Sarah Shepherd, Rachel Hughes and Ashley Reeve; and four siblings, Melba Bowman, Linda Grace, Joe Showah (Linda), and George Showah (Sandy).
