Harry Potter, age 80, went to be with the Lord, February 4, 2016.
He was a man of deep faith and devotion. He was a missionary in Bolivia South America for 19 years. While he was there he brought many people to Christ and built many churches. Harry also pastored three churches in Florida and Michigan. He will forever be remembered for his passion for scripture, being a prayer warrior, his generosity to others, his ability to lead people to the Lord, his love for family and his humble heart.
Harry is preceded in death by his loving wife of 49 years, Helen Potter. He is survived by his children, Timothy Potter, his wife and 4 children, Philip Potter, his wife and 5 children, David Potter, his wife and 2 children, and Deb Nethercutt, her husband and 3 children; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers, James Potter, Jr., Ronald Potter and Donald Potter.
Burial services will be held at a later date in Michigan. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hendersonville Church of Nazarene, 159 Luna Lane, Hendersonville, TN 37075, where the private memorial service was held on Saturday, February 6, 2016.
