Harry Franklin Hester age 91 of Hendersonville, TN. passed away on Thursday October 17th, 2019. Funeral Services for Harry will be held on Sunday October 20th 2019 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home with interment to follow in Restlawn Cemetery in Franklin Ky. Pastor Jack Keller will officiate the service. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home beginning on Saturday October 19th, 2019 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM. Visitation will continue on Sunday from 1:00PM to 2:00PM service time.
Serving as pallbearers include: Frank Hester, Bill Hester, Michael Hester, Turner Hester, Drew Hester, Reed Hester. Honorary pallbearers: Scott Gilbert, Charlie Gragg, Bob Yates, Terrell Jones, Brandon Waller, & Kenneth Harrell.
Harry was born to Ida and Harry Hester in Franklin, Kentucky. As a 17 year old young man, he proudly served his country in the Navy and attended Lincoln Chiropractic College on the GI Bill. After several years as a Chiropractor in Russellville, Kentucky, he founded Dee Cee Laboratories in Madison and later opened a manufacturing facility in White House Tennessee to service his profession with supplements and nutritional initiatives.
A highly motivated and caring professional, Harry positively influenced the people he came in contact with over his long career, offering generous friendship, leadership and encouragement.
Enjoying life to the fullest he was a loved, respected and devoted family man as well as a faithful member of Bellshire United Methodist Church.
He is preceded in death by his mother Ida Hester, father Harry Hester & his sister Louise Dorris.
He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years JoNell Hester. His son Frank & (Tracy) Hester, daughter Beth Hester & (Scott Gilbert) , daughter Mary Hester-Gragg & (Charlie Gragg), daughter Carolyn & (Bob) Yates, son Bill Hester & (Mary Myers), son Michael & (Melissa) Hester. Grandchildren: Maria Andujo, Terrell Jones, Gabby Hester, Turner Hester (Stormey), Drew Hester, Reed Hester, Hailee Hester. Great-Grandchildren: Amelia Taylor, Robert Vandiver, Marion Elise Craig, Kane Hester, Cole Hester and his brother Bobby Hester.
Harry was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather brother & friend. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
