Gloria Gail Nolley Davidson

Gloria was born December 3, 1937 in Flint, Michigan. She passed away April 26, 2023 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee.

Gloria and her husband Buck made their home in Big Sandy, TN for many years. She loved crafting, baking, sewing, antiquing and repurposing furniture. There was never a yard sale or Estate sale that she didn’t miss. Also loved fishing and camping and riding the trails on 4-wheelers.

She was preceded in death by her father Olon Nolley. Her mother and step-father Ila F. Barrow and V.G. (Gib) Barrow. Her brother Brian Nolley and a sister Dian K. Nicholson.

She leaves behind a loving husband Hugh E.(Buck) Davidson. Her children Valerie (Jeff) Rogers, Barbara (Terry) Morris, Steve (Linda) Bethel, Michelle Sterling, and Mike Bethel. She had 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

She leaves her brother Paul F. Barrow, sister in laws Joy A. Nolley and Lisa Smith. Brother in laws Terry Davidson, Darell Davidson, Randall Davidson, and several nieces and nephews.

She leaves us with so many precious memories and the love of a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was our world.

The family had a private viewing on April 27, 2023. Her wishes were to be cremated. We would like to thank Hendersonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home and Cremation Center for taking care of all of the arrangements.
