Mr. George Earl Rushing age 85, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2019.

Mr. Rushing was born in Milan, TN, on August 26, 1933, the son of the late Luther and Floy Rushing. Mr. Rushing served in the United States Army stationed in Korea as a military police from 1958- 1960. He retired from Pirelli Tire in 1998 after many years of service. Mr. Rushing was a small statured man with a larger than life heart and left a lasting impression to each and every one of us. In addition to his parents, Mr. Rushing is preceded in death by his sister, Eloise Ross.

Survivors include his wife of sixty years, Charleen Rushing; son, Marty Rushing; a daughter, Daphne Rushing; two brothers, Laws Rushing (Marilyn) and Frank Rushing (Debbie Rushing). Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, March 25, 2019, at 11:00 A.M., Hendersonville Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.

Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Sunday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at Hendersonville Funeral Home.
