George M. "Mike" Kemp passed away March 3, 2017 in Hendersonville. Mike had been employed for many years as a customer service rep. with Blevins Inc. in Nashville. Born in Nashville, Mike moved to Hendersonville as a youth, graduating from Hendersonville High and had lived most of his life here. A quiet, unassuming man, Mike loved the outdoors and enjoyed his many trips to Gatlinburg and the mountains of East Tennessee. He particularly enjoyed hiking and walking as well as his bike and go-cart rides with his grandson. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, George and Shirley Kemp; as well as by a brother, Rusty Parham. He is survived by his wife, Wanda (Gammon) Kemp; his son, Brandon Kemp; his daughter, Kaitlin Kemp and grandson, Aiden Tayes; and a sister, Cindy Frederick. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4 to 6 pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home followed by a life celebration service at 6 pm
