Gene Garrett Branch of Gallatin, passed away on Tuesday, November 27th, 2018 at the age of 88. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Pearl May Branch, parents, Vanius E. Branch and Emmaline Flatt, brothers, Marshall, Roger, Floyd and James Branch along with sister, Virginia Branch. Survived by children, Roy Branch (Denise), Donna Branch, Brenda Roper, David Branch and Doug Branch. Gene is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many extended family and friends.

Gene was born on October 25, 1930 in Gainesboro, Tennessee. He was a United States Army veteran and retired from Peterbilt Motors. Gene enjoyed working in his garden, building model airplanes, puzzles, and working on cars. He was very handy and logical man. Gene was an awesome and loving father and grandfather that will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life service for Gene will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home on Friday, November 30th at 11:00AM, officiated by Pastor Jerry Peace. Visitation for family and friends will begin at 9:00AM. Burial will follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens in the Garden of Cross.
