Gailon Gasterland

Mr. Gailon Gasterland, age 77, of Hendersonville, passed away on December 27, 2019 in Nashville. He was born on April 1, 1942 in Birmingham, AL to the late Gailon C. and Mary Ann Gasterland.

Gailon, also known as "Pop" to many, adored his grandchildren. He also enjoyed being outdoors fishing and hunting. He was also loved anything to do with airplanes. Gailon was loved by many people and will be truly missed.

Gailon is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Mrs. Ann Gasterland; children, Chad (Michele) Gasterland and Kristi Word; grandchildren, Lacey and Keely Gasterland, and Landon and Alan- Elizabeth Word. He is also survived by one sister, Geryl Ann (Tim) Herrington.

A visitation will be held from 2-5pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home on Sunday, December 29, 2019.
