Mrs. Freda Mae Ledbetter age 92, of Gallatin, TN, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018.

Mrs. Ledbetter was born in Bon Aqua, TN, on May 13, 1926, the daughter of the late Robert Lee Rainey and Fannie Lee Dunnagan Rainey. She was a member of Hendersonville First United Methodist Church. Mrs. Ledbetter retired from Tune Entrekin & White PC as a legal secretary. She was an avid sports fan, enjoyed gardening and playing bridge. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ledbetter was preceded in death by her husband to whom she was married on November 8, 1950, J. Robert Ledbetter; sisters Leola Barrett and Joanne Gaskill; and brothers Leon Rainey, John Henry Rainey, Arnold J. "Snooks" Rainey, Robert Lee "Bob" Rainey, Will A. "Bill" Rainey, and James A. Rainey

Survivors include a sister, Imogene Carino and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Also, her special neighbors on Dickerson Bay Drive.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, July 30, 2018, at 10:00 A.M., Hendersonville Funeral Home. Interment will follow at noon, Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Sunday from 3:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Hendersonville Funeral Home.

The active pallbearers will be the nieces, nephews and great-nephews. The honorary pallbearers will be the neighbors on Dickerson Bay Drive.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association.
