Freda Louise Kuhnert- age 89 passed away November 15, 2015.
She was born in Rockdale, KY on July 28, 1926 to the late Laurel and Jesse Rawlins. She was a graduate of Georgetown College, class of 1948. In 1948 she married her late husband and love of her life, Kenneth Kuhnert. She had a passion for educating children and began her teaching career in a one room school. She retired from teaching in 1986 after 33 years of service. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Kuhnert and grandson, Micah Shay Kuhnert. She is survived by her son, Ralph Kuhnert (Bobbie); daughter, Karen Hamilton (Barry); grandchildren, Rachael Martin, Scott Kuhnert (Alana), Karla Brown (Johnny), and Jace Hamilton (Avery); great-grandchildren, Avery Martin and Ike Kuhnert.
A celebration of Freda's life will be held on Wednesday, November 18, at 10am in the Chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
