Fred A. Connor, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Angela Connor (Bordeaux), along with siblings; Dick, Josh, Clare and Joan.

Fred is survived by his loving wife, Betty Jane Connor (Fears), of 63 years, children; Mary Elissa Connor, Frederick Fears Connor, Michael Patrick Connor, grandchildren; Connor, Hunter, Hayley, Elizabeth, Sarah, Max, Katie, and great-grandchild, Lillie Jane. Fred is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Fred worked for the Ford Motor Company, Glass Division and was a United States Army veteran. Fred was an athlete who participated in many sports and played basketball professionally. He enjoyed the lake life and playing golf. Fred was a loving husband whose main interest in life were his 3 children, 7 grandchildren and his first great-grandchild.

Life celebration for Fred will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home, 353 E. Main St. in Hendersonville on Monday, April 25, 2016 at 2:00PM, officiated by Pastor Bruce Chesser. Visitation will be held from 10:00AM until 2:00PM, all at the funeral home. Fred will be laid to rest at Hendersonville Memory Gardens, following the service.
