Mrs. Francisca Santana age 84, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020.

Mrs. Santana was born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico on July 1, 1936, the daughter of the late Evaristo Nazario and Paula Monell Nazario. She lived in Puerto Rico as a child and later moved to Paterson, New Jersey where she met the love of her life. Then after retirement her and her husband had a farm in Puerto Rico. When Mr. Santana passed away, she lived in Palm Bay, Florida, and then resided in Hendersonville, TN. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Education from William Patterson University. She enjoyed singing and sewing. Mrs. Santana had a good sense of humor and was very family oriented. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Florida. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Santana was preceded in death by her husband, Tomas Santana, Sr. and a son, Gene Santana.

Survivors include her three children, Tomas Santana, Jr. (Elsie), Elizabeth Meyer (Emmanuel), and Lillian Caldwell (Pat); nine grandchildren, Tomas Junior Santana, Ashley Ann Santana, Tomas David Meyer, Daniel Joseph Meyer, Christopher Bryan Caldwell, Melissa Mae Caldwell, Amy Santana Tomasello, Joshua Santana, and Khiyah Yael Santana; three great-grandchildren, Christopher Joshua Tucker Santana, Katie Lynn Meyer, and Addison Meyer; and four sisters, Lucy Martinez (Eliezar), Elizabeth Perlta, Mary Hernandez, Raquel Nazario. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, October 7, 2020, at 2:00 P.M., Hendersonville Funeral Home.

Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Wednesday from noon until the funeral hour at Hendersonville Funeral Home.
