Frances Holder - Age 91 of Hendersonville went to be with her Lord on March 27, 2015.
Mrs. Holder was a loving and giving woman who always had a smile on her face. She was a friend to all and never met a stranger. She was a very hardworking woman who did many things, with her most notable being a Property Manager for Clay Gaines, and later for Lee Noel. She was a devout Christian lady and a longtime member of Hendersonville First Baptist Church. She enjoyed life, but some of her favorite things were playing cards, doing puzzles, sewing, cooking, traveling, and most of all, spending time with her family. The family would like to express a special thank you to her loving caregivers.
Preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Howard Holder; children, Janice Hutchings & Denny Holder; sisters, Dorothy & Genevieve. Survived by her children, Carolyn Hoffman (Bill) & Jerry Holder (Linda); son-in-law, Terry Hutchings; 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; brothers, Steve O'Rear, Willard "Dip" O'Rear & David O'Rear (Wyna); several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A Life Celebration will be held 11am Monday at Hendersonville First Baptist Church with Dr. Bruce Chesser officiating. Burial to follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 4:00pm - 7:00pm Sunday at Hendersonville Funeral Home & 10:00am - 11:00am Monday at church.
