Frances Dodson

Frances Ann Dodson, age 91 of, Hendersonville passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2022 surrounded by her family. Frances was born in Morrison, TN and was the daughter of the late Lloyd Marcus and Lizzie May Elder McMahan.

Frances is survived by her daughter Debbie Anderson (Jim); son Scott Dodson (Eileen); brother Vance McMahan (Barbara); sisters Lynda Dowd (Bubba), Barbara Alexander (Don); grandchildren Mitch Dodson (Abby), Phillip Dodson (Carrie Ann), Andy Anderson (Kim); great-grandsons Aiden Anderson and Spencer Anderson; great-granddaughters Layla McKnight and Hazel McKnight. Frances was predeceased in death by her husband Jack K. Dodson, grandson Spencer Anderson, three brothers and two sisters.

A graveside service to celebrate Frances’s life will be held at 1pm on the afternoon of Friday, July 8, 2022 at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.

Frances was a member of the Hendersonville Church of Christ. She worked several decades at the Vanderbilt University ticket office for the basketball and football games.
