Foster Haynes

Foster Thomas Haynes, age 88, of Gallatin, Tennessee, passed away February 25, 2023 at Sumner Regional Medical Center.  Foster was born in McKenzie, Tennessee on December 28, 1934.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his two sisters.  He was also preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Joyce Faye Haynes.  He is survived by his daughters, Karen (David) Holley of Gallatin, Amanda (Kevin) Davis of Hendersonville, grandchildren, Sandi Holley, Daniel (Athena) Holley, Dylan (Kelsi) Davis, and great grandchild, Freya Holley.

Foster attended Hume Fogg High School and after graduating he served in the U.S. Army.  After returning from military service, he began a career with the Ford Motor Company, retiring in his late 70’s.  He loved growing vegetable gardens and working in the yard.  He also loved watching football games and cheering for the Tennessee Titans.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hendersonville Memory Gardens & Funeral Home.  The family will receive visitors from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m.
