Evelyn Simpson

Evelyn Isle "Lynn" Simpson, 76, of Hendersonville, TN passed to her eternal home on May 1, 2017. She was born to the late Oscar and Evelyn Simpson in Ontario, Canada on June 12, 1940. She is preceded in death by her son, Christopher Simpson; brother, Ken Simpson; sister, Dorothy Burnett. Lynn is survived by her daughter, Nancy Winton Bonham; granddaughters, Brianna and Jade Parr; brother, Neil Simpson along with many loving family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Lynn was one of the most caring and genuine friends anyone could ask for. She was an unbelievable cook and loved to can all kinds of food. Working in the garden was one of her biggest passions. Lynn worked in real estate for 30 years where her clients became extended family. Her family described her as the best mother and grandmother in the world. She was proud of her grandchildren, and "Nanny" as they called her was their biggest fan.

Life Celebration services will be held at Calvary Chapel of Long Hollow Pike at 1:30p.m. on Thursday, May 11, 2017, 1001 Willis Branch Rd., Goodlettsville, TN 37072, officiated by Brother Jerry McAnulty.
