Mrs. Ernestine Ruth Coleman Hogan age 75, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2019.

Mrs. Hogan was born in Sylacauga, AL, on April 13, 1944, the daughter of the late Thomas Franklin Coleman and Mary Florence Clark Coleman. She was a member of Hendersonville First Baptist Church and retired from Castner Knott after twenty-seven years of service. Mrs. Hogan enjoyed taking photos, cooking, sewing, crochet, crafts, biking, swimming, and anything outdoors. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hogan was preceded in death by her sister, Wilma Hamilton.

Survivors include her husband of fifty-six years, William "Dub" Hogan, to whom she was married on November 24, 1962; two sons, Timothy "Scott" (Jenny) Hogan and William "Bill" (Andrea) Hogan; five grandchildren, LeighAnn Hogan, Zachary Hogan, Joshua Hogan, Hannah Hogan, and Paige Hogan; and a sister, Niva Johnson. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, September 10, 2019, at 2:00 P.M., Hendersonville Funeral Home with Dr. Blaser officiating.

Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Tuesday from noon until the funeral hour at Hendersonville Funeral Home.
