Emily Woodward

Emily Glass Woodward, 74, of Gallatin, TN went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 29, 2017. She was born to the late James and Elsie Glass on October 5, 1943 in Jackson, TN. She is survived by her son, John Michael (Katie) Woodward; sisters, Alliene Varner, grandchildren, Benjamin, Carter, and Summer; nieces, Susan and Sarah Varner.

She was a very loving mother that would do anything for her family. She was a music educator and was an amazing teacher to all of her students. Her family described her as, "fun, hardworking, dedicated mentor, family oriented." She loved to play Volleyball and enjoyed Trains.

A Life Celebration will be held at St. Luke Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Madison, TN on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 2 O' Clock in the Afternoon. Visitation will be held from 1p.m. until the hour of service. Rev. Dewayne Tyus will be officiating the Life Celebration.
