Elva Temple

TEMPLE, Elva DeMoss – Age 99, of Nashville, passed away July 6, 2013. Mrs. Temple is preceded in death by her husband, Sam B. Temple; daughter, Joyce Dickerson; sons, Sam E. and William T. Temple; daughter-in-law, Lois Temple; sons-in-law, Leonard Matthews, Andrew Dickerson; grandsons, Joey and Hossie Dickerson, and great grandson, Aaron Miller. Survivors of Mrs. Temple include sons, Hershel Temple Flossie, Herman Temple, Robert Temple Suzanne, Horace Temple Sheryn and Wayne Temple Judy; daughters, Lou Matthews and Sarah Smith Pee Wee; sister, Jane Epley; 22 Grandchildren and numerous generations of Great-Grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Temple will be on Monday, July 8th from 2-8PM and Tuesday, July 9th from 10-2:30PM. Services will be held Tuesday, July 9th at 2:30 PM in the chapel of West Harpeth Funeral Home, 6962 Charlotte Pike Nashville, TN. Terry Temple will be officiating. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens with family members as active pallbearers.
