Elizabeth "Ann" LaFever- age 85 went to be with the Lord on June 8, 2016.
Ann as everyone knew her will be remembered as the "Rock" of her family. Everyone always turned to her in their time of need. She had a giving and generous heart. She truly was the definition of a selfless woman, always putting everyone else's needs ahead of her own. She was also a woman of faith who served the Lord. She was a member of Dickerson Road Baptist Church in Nashville, where she also served as church secretary for 30 years.
Even though her life revolved around her family she also had a love for flowers. She could bring any flower or plant back to life and always seemed to have the ability to grow anything she desired. You could say she definitely had a "green thumb". Ann was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and best friend that help shape the lives of her family and will be deeply missed.
She is preceded in death by her sisters, Christine and Ruth; brother, Charley.
She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Billy LaFever, Sr.; son, Dr. Billy LaFever, Jr. (Becky); grandchildren, Tiffany McCaslin (Brandon) and Bill LaFever, III (Heather); great-grandchildren, Cade Abner, Lincoln LaFever and Bryce McCaslin; sisters, Mary Gaston and Patsy Gibbs.
A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 4pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held prior from 3-4pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home 353 E Main St Hendersonville, TN 37075 615-824-3855 hendersonvillefh.com
