WHITE, EDNA MAE, of Nashville, TN died April 9, 2013. Preceded in death by husband of fifty years, Owen E. White; sisters Elsie Ford, Florence Brown, Vera Batts, and brothers Kenneth Evans and Norris Evans. She is survived by daughter Barbara A. White of Atlanta, GA, son Roland White and sister; Magalene Davis, both of Nashville, TN, and by several nieces and nephews.
She and her husband were charter members of Matthews Memorial Church, where she served as President of UMW and taught Sunday School. For the past sixty years, she was a member of McKendree Methodist Church, where she was also active in the UMW and taught Sunday School. During World War Two, she was an active volunteer for the American Red Cross. The graveside service will be on Monday, April 15, 2013, at 2pm, at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be Monday from 11am-1pm at WEST HARPETH FUNERAL HOME
