Dorothy W. Johnson- age 93 went to be with the Lord on November 30, 2015.
Although all of her friends knew her as Dorothy all of her family lovingly called her by "Nana" or "Dot". She was a hard worker, very independent, and could be best described as "fiesty". She will always be famous for her "Beehive" hair do.
When remembering Dorothy the first thing that came to mind was her passion for her work. She gave many dedicated years to Russell Stover and Opryland. She loved chocolate and could tell you any flavor of the chocolate just by looking at it.
She touched the lives of many and will be missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe and Alice Williams; husband, John Davis, daughter, Pam Travis, 3 brothers, and 3 sisters.
She is survived by daughters, Sherry Costin (David) and Ginger Stewart; grandchildren, Shannon, David, and Steven Costin, Karen Brinkley (Eric), Shanna Keezer (Denim), and John Troy Hubbs; 8 great-grandchildren and sister, Joyce Shackleford.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 11:30am-1:00pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens Chapel of Memories Mausoleum. Hendersonville Funeral Home 353 E Main St Hendersonville, TN 37075 615-824-3855
