When remembering Doris, it can be said that she was one of three inseparable sisters. Spending time with family was very important to her, and she loved to spoil her nieces and nephews. There are even Christmas memories of her playing bingo with the family. She enjoyed watching football and was an avid Chicago Bears fan. On Sunday evenings she could quote the latest scores for the teams who played. Doris also had the need for speed and was a Nascar enthusiast as well. Above all, Doris worshiped the Lord and was a faithful member of twelve years at Hendersonville Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Nieces and nephews will serve as pallbearers; Stanley Taylor, Jay Garrett, Gene Wayne Craddock, Jason Craddock, Anthony Taylor, Bradley Craddock, and Rick May. Great-niece Lauren Taylor will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
