Donnie Lyons

Donnie Ray Lyons, of Gallatin, TN passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2022. He was the son of the late William and Betty Margaret Lyons.

Donnie was preceded in death by his four brothers; Thomas, Jeff, Louis, and Joey. He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Maureen Coyle Lyons; sister Lynda Kruger; daughters Beth Kennedy (Barry), Julie Lyons; son Eric Lyons (Misty); eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Donnie was born in Russellville, KY. He was a truck driver for over 40 years and ended his career as a charter bus driver for The Gaylord Opry Hotel in Nashville, TN. Donnie loved NASCAR, Atlanta Braves Baseball, fishing, traveling and his cat Mitsy Rue. He was a loving husband and father. We will miss him dearly.

A service to celebrate Donnie’s life will held at 2pm on the afternoon of Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Hendersonville Funeral Home with Father Thomas officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the start of the service. Entombment will follow in the Hendersonville Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
